Trina Green Hydrogen Debuts at CGF2025 Forum to Discuss New Paths for Green Hydrogen Energy Development

On June 30th, the 3rd China (International) Green Fuel Innovation and Development Summit and Exhibition of CGF2025 opened in Qingdao. Duan Shengzan, the head of Trina GreenHydrogen Solutions, was invited to attend and give a keynote speech, sharing Trina Green's technological innovation and solutions in the field of green hydrogen energy with the industry.      

This forum is jointly organized by New Energy Network, its subsidiary Global Green Fuel Network, and 100 leading enterprises. As the core issue of global energy transition, the Green Fuel Development Forum has attracted numerous industry experts and business representatives to participate, aiming to gather industry wisdom, promote the acceleration of green fuel from pilot to large-scale commercial use, and contribute to the global energy transition and carbon neutrality goals.

Currently, the development of green hydrogen energy has become an important engine for global energy transition. As of December 2024, China has planned over 700 green hydrogen projects, a year-on-year increase of 85%, with a total planned 

production capacity of over 11 million tons per year, corresponding to a demand for electrolytic cells of 143 GW, far exceeding the planned target of 100000 to 200000 tons by 2025. This marks the transformation of China's green hydrogen industry from the demonstration stage to large-scale implementation.  

In this industry context, Trina GreenHydrogen focuses on the integrated development of photovoltaic hydrogen storage, and has created integrated and diversified solutions covering renewable energy hydrogen production systems, photovoltaic AC hydrogen production systems, photovoltaic DC hydrogen production systems, etc. It supports renewable energy parallel/off grid, AC/DC coupling hydrogen production, and grid power hydrogen production, providing flexible choices for green hydrogen production in different scenarios and helping to achieve efficient energy conversion and utilization.

The underlying logic of Tianqing II is to build a dynamic balance system of 'electricity hydrogen load', "Duan Shengzan emphasized in his speech. Through flow field simulation optimization (speed deviation<10%) and intelligent power regulation algorithms, it can seamlessly integrate into multi scenario solutions such as photovoltaic DC hydrogen production and AC grid connected hydrogen production, optimizing the cost structure with high electricity prices. At the same time, a series of standardized product matrices will be launched on the equipment side, including MW level PEM series hydrogen production equipment, 10MW alkaline hydrogen production equipment, and MW level container hydrogen production systems. These products can achieve 1000 square meter standard containers, multi tank hybrid, plug and play, reduce transportation costs by 54%, and shorten delivery cycles by 50%, greatly improving project implementation efficiency. With the continuous release of the 4GW digital intelligence base capacity in Yangzhou, Trina Green Hydrogen is promoting the full chain innovation of "equipment cost reduction system efficiency improvement ecological synergy" to achieve the industrial goal of green hydrogen cost parity with blue hydrogen by 2030.

With the improvement of the carbon trading market and the gradual increase in carbon trading prices, the market competitiveness of green hydrogen will be further enhanced. It is expected that by 2050, the production cost of green hydrogen in 16 provinces in China will be lower than the local production cost of blue hydrogen. In the future, Trina GreenHydrogen will develop hydrogen production technologies with stronger adaptability based on the resource endowment and energy structure of different regions, in order to improve the efficiency of green hydrogen production and energy conversion.
