Debuting in Europe, technology empowers the European green energy process, leading the global hydrogen energy future with wisdom, Trina Green Hydrogen

Date:2025.06.20

On June 18-19, the 4th European Hydrogen Energy Summit and Exhibition CHE2025 grandly kicked off at the Madrid International Convention and Exhibition Center in Spain. As a leading global provider of hydrogen energy solutions, Trina Green Hydrogen showcased cutting-edge technologies and products such as the full field view photovoltaic hydrogen storage integrated system and megawatt level hydrogen production equipment. Ms. Bi Sunhailing, the head of the European Capability Center, was invited to give a speech at the main forum, sharing her insights and thoughts on the development of the hydrogen energy industry.

As the annual event of the global hydrogen energy industry, this summit, with the theme of "Accelerating the Hydrogen Economy and Building a Zero Carbon Future," has attracted over 6000 industry leaders, research experts, policy makers, and business representatives from more than 60 countries and regions around the world, providing a deep communication platform for the hydrogen energy industry chain.

In the global hydrogen energy development pattern, Europe has always played a leading role. The EU has explicitly stated that renewable hydrogen should be fully integrated into the energy system by 2050. Currently, countries such as Germany, the Netherlands, and Denmark are actively promoting large-scale hydrogen energy projects through government funding support and policy guidance. Germany has planned multiple large-scale green hydrogen production bases with a total investment of over 20 billion euros; The construction of hydrogen ports in the Netherlands is also steadily advancing. At the same time, the EU has invested 35 billion euros to promote a cross-border hydrogen energy infrastructure network, accelerating the large-scale application of hydrogen energy in industries, transportation, construction, and other fields.

In her speech at the main forum, Bi Sunhailing pointed out that "as traditional hydrogen production technology gradually faces bottlenecks in terms of cost and efficiency, the hydrogen energy industry urgently needs to explore new technological breakthroughs. Integrated solar hydrogen storage solutions with higher energy efficiency, lower energy consumption, and stronger adaptability are gradually becoming a key trend in the future development of hydrogen energy. Europe's abundant renewable energy resources, perfect scientific research system, and mature industrial ecology are highly compatible with the development direction of Trina Green  Hydrogen." Based on Trina Green Group's forward-looking layout in the field of solar hydrogen storage, Trina Green Hydrogen has launched an integrated solar hydrogen storage system, which builds a "power generation storage hydrogen production" closed loop, increases the utilization rate of renewable energy to over 85%, and significantly reduces the cost of green hydrogen production per kilowatt hour. It is worth mentioning that Europe has abundant wind and solar energy resources, with renewable energy accounting for over 30% in multiple countries, providing natural convenience for the integration of solar and hydrogen storage.

Bi Sunhai Ling believes that the key to promoting the development of hydrogen energy technology lies in continuous innovation and breakthroughs, avoiding the dilemma of homogeneous competition. Faced with a complex energy application environment, Trina Green Hydrogen responds to changes with versatility. From MW level PEM hydrogen production equipment, MW level alkaline hydrogen production equipment to MW level container hydrogen production systems, they all have the characteristics of low energy consumption, long service life, high efficiency, strong safety, and high adaptability. Especially the megawatt level containerized hydrogen production system adopts modular design, standard container integration, no welding required for delivery to the site, shortens the construction period by 50%, reduces construction costs by 25%, and can quickly respond to the demand of the European market.

Bi Sunhai Ling stated that hydrogen energy will develop towards diversification, intelligence, and globalization in the future, which puts higher demands on technology and products. This also means that Trina Green Hydrogen must accelerate technological iteration and application implementation to ensure its leading position in the changing hydrogen energy track.

According to the International Energy Agency's forecast, the hydrogen energy industry in Europe will experience an explosive period in the next 3-5 years. It is expected that by 2028, the proportion of hydrogen energy in European energy consumption will increase from the current 4.3% to 12%, becoming the core force driving the transformation of energy structure. In the face of this challenge and opportunity, Trina Green Hydrogen will focus on customer needs and diverse scenarios, innovate and create hydrogen smart energy solutions, accelerate overseas layout, strengthen international cooperation, and strive to build a collaborative industrial ecosystem to promote the globalization process of the hydrogen energy industry.
